Blog Indiana Valpo Is a Day Away

We’re just one day away from Blog Indiana Valparaiso. The Boiler Room is starting to become a buzz of activity. Ping Pong enthusiasts, don’t be concerned when you don’t see the tables right away. We’ve moved them down the hall to make room.

And, “yes,” you can still play them. “Yes,” and the Foosball, and the classic ice hockey game…

Last minute notes for Blog Indiana Valpo

1)  Blog Indiana founders Noah Coffey and Shawn Plew will be on hand for the event.  They’ll be easy to spot:  one will be behind a camera and one will be behind a laptop usually. They’re good people. Please feel free to ask them any questions you might have regarding Blog Indiana.

2) Menu: Pass Times of Valparaiso will be providing a delicious menu that will include the following:

  • Chicken skewers
  • Stuffed Mushrooms
  • Bacon-Wrapped Scallops
  • Cheese Tray
  • …

3) Soft Drinks: They will be in the Boiler Room fridge. Feel free to grab a few. (We forgot to mention it last time, though Finn was thankful for the extra case of pop that left over from last month.)

4)  “Yes,” open invite: Much like #nwitweetups, this combo Blog Indiana event is open invitation. Bring friends. You can register for the event, but that’s so the folks at Blog Indiana can get a head count. If you haven’t done so, you can register for Blog Indiana Valparaiso here.

5) The evening’s topic: As mentioned on the Blog Indiana website, Douglas Karr will be speaking about the following:

“Everyone is screaming at businesses to get online and get social. Why? What has changed? What are the best practices?…”
